My Love, Jim
Your skin glows like the mango, blossoms funny as the daisy
in the purest hope of spring.
My yearning heart rises to your violin voice and leaps like a turtle

I am calmed by your shirt that I carry into the twilight of
spoonbeams and hold next to my elbow.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of apple juice.
As my lips fall from my shoes, it reminds me of your dinner.
In the hushed, I listen for the last whisper of the spring.

This was silly, but fun!
My Love, DeWalt
Your skin glows like the black berry, blossoms gracious as the carnation in the purest hope of spring.
My yearning heart rises to your cello voice and leaps like a tiger at the whisper of your name, DeWalt.
The evening ascends in on a great humming bird wing.
I am calmed by your tie that I carry into the twilight of truckbeams and hold next to my elbow.
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of gatorade.
As my knee falls from my fedora, it reminds me of your mechanical pencil.
In the hushed, I listen for the last snore of the spring.
My heated nose leaps to my sock. I wait in the crystal moonlight for your secret notebook so that we may laugh as one, nose to nose, in search of the glorious red and spiritual pillow of love.

Love You Always
In summertime, our love is Generous , like Roses floating in the breeze.
In wintertime, our love is warm — it Goes from Arm to toes.
If skies are blue, our love is Tender — two people Dancing in the sun.
If thunder rolls our love is Blessed, a refuge from the Falling rain.
When spring flowers bloom, our love is bold, like Red petals on the Lilacs.
When autumn leaves fall, our love is Gold, shining bright like a harvest Sunrise.
From Christmas till Easter our love will continue to Soar.
From season to season I love you always! My one, my only, my Sweetie.

The Tale of My Sweet Mother Daughter
By The Mammas and the Poppas
A Ballad
It began on a slow any day midnight:
I was the most heavenly caregiver around,
She was the most sweet mother.
She was my daughter,
My sweet daughter,
My mother.
We used to fly so well together,
Back then.
We wanted to tiptoe together, around the world,
We wanted it all.
But one midnight, one slow midnight,
We decided to tiptoe too much.
Together we cleaned Mr. Pig.
It was fast, so fast.
From that moment our relationship changed.
She grew so light.
And then it happened:
Oh no! Oh no!
She kissed Miss Piggy.
Alas, Miss Piggy!
My daughter kissed Miss Piggy.
It was heavy, so heavy.
The next day I thought my head had broken,
I thought my toes had burst into flames,
(But I was actually overreacting a little.)
But still, she is in my thoughts.
I think about how it all changed that midnight,
That slow any day midnight.
My toes... ouch!
When I think of that sweet mother,
That sweet mother and me.
