Day 14 - April 14th is National "Poem in Your Pocket" Day!!

So I'm posting this early so you will know that Thursday, April 14th, I'm just going to "set you free" (as in FREE verse). Write any kind of poetry you want to.

Inasmuch as April 14th is National "Poem in Your Pocket" Day I'm also going to post the Poem FOR THIS DAY by Beatrice Schenk de Regniers and give you a link you can explore!! The main idea is to: select a poem you love during National Poetry Month then carry it with you on "Poem In Your Pocket Day" (April 14th), sharing it with co-workers, family, and friends.

Keep a poem in your pocket
And a picture in your head
And you’ll never feel lonely
At night when you’re in bed.

The little poem will sing to you
The little picture bring to you
A dozen dreams to dance to you
At night when you’re in bed.
