Day 30 ~ Poem in My Pocket Day #NationalPoetryMonth for 30 poems in 30 days

Day 30 ~ Poem in My Pocket Day #NationalPoetryMonth for 30 poems in 30 days

Well, here we are at the end of our poetry journey! Last day of National Poetry Month. There have been some amazing poems written. It’s been fun to be able to read them all. Today is “National Poem in My Pocket Day.”

This is a day for sharing poetry. I think the last day of Poetry Month is rather appropriate for this. The idea is to make a few copies of poems you love or that you wrote (a couple or a bundle, at your discretion) and be ready to pass them out to friends, co-workers, family, even strangers throughout the day. Share your love of poetry. Tell them what you have been up to all month. You can share whatever poem(s) you like. I suggest you choose one or two of your own that you have written this month (or it can be from a favorite poet) and share them. And in this digital age, I suppose you can share online if you don’t think you’ll be out and about. (Or do both, share in person and online). You can also write a new poem just for Poem in My Pocket Day if you wish. I won't be giving any instructions today. In our FB group, I hope you will let us know what poem(s) you are sharing. Thanks for a great month!! See you next year. (I hope. I’m wearing out a bit, but I guess it’s like having a baby – you forget any difficulties and when it’s time, you have another one! LOL. Cheers!!
