Yay!!Today is the day!!! If you have been following along all
month you know that I suggested this poetry form on Sunday and that it would be
fun to reveal what we come up with on Friday, TODAY!!!! So, whatcha’ got? (And
if you missed it – go back to Sunday’s post and read about it and come up with whatever you can and share it when
you are ready).
If you take photos of your “Book Spine Poems” (and I think you should), try to line up the titles when you stack them up – we are only interested in the titles for this poetry form.
I came up with ELEVEN “Book Spine” Poems, such as they are. It doesn’t really matter how many you find. But I hope you at least came up with one. Perhaps YOU are far more clever than I and your poetry is quite profound. My Book Spine Poetry is not particularly profound; well, maybe one or two give “food for thought.” But it was pretty fun putting them together.
Now, since you won’t be able to include a photo in the comments section, here is what I suggest – just write up the poem by writing a title per line in the order that you stacked them up. If you are willing and able to share a few (or a BUNCH) on FB, then do that too and say so in your comments so those who are your FB friends can find it. I also suggest that if you have your own blog, you can post them there and then link back to this and/or Sunday’s post in case your readers/followers have any questions. Cheers!!
OK, in no particular order, here are mine (I hope the formatting isn't all messed up on whatever electronic device you are reading this on. Sigh... I tried and tried to make it work):
