Day 26 ~ 2015 #NationalPoetryMonth ~ Monorhyme Poem for “30 poems in 30 days”

Day 26 How about a Monorhyme Poem?

A Monorhyme is a poem in which all the lines have the same end rhyme.
It can be however many lines you want and about any subject as long as the last word of each line rhymes with all the other last words of each line. And you don't skip (space) any lines.

EXAMPLE of a Monorhyme Poem

Here's my example ~ not that great, but you get the main idea. I’m sure your poems will be better.

EXAMPLE:

Today I was surrounded with children’s chatter.
A party for Taylor, there was such a clatter.
Excited kids arrived like players up to batter.
A slip n’ slide made the water splatter.
When it started to rain, it really didn’t matter.
Grass-covered feet went pitter-patter.
Then out came the food on a pretty platter.
Pizza and cake, just making me fatter.
As the party came to an end, the kids began to scatter.

Having a flood in your basement is no fun
It makes it hard to get laundry done
I'm so glad we have a nearby good son
And he is our first-born, son number one
Now the search for a washer has begun
I hope that it won't weigh a ton!

:D

Alright, here's the scoop.
There's nary a tactic to which I won't stoop
For my little boy's britches to cease to droop
From three years of diapers, I've had to regroup
And tomorrow, I'll swoop
And jump through the hoops
To be rid of the goop
And my life I'll recoup
From all of this poop!
